Quick and Cute Spooky Treat Holders

Happy Sunday Campers! Today I want to share a CASE project with you that is quick and easy to create. I really love sitting down and being able to make something cute and easy that comes together quickly. These are great because they use a 6″ x 6″ piece of DSP as the base, so you can make 4 of these out of a 12″ x 12″ piece of DSP. I love doing that and not having little bits of paper leftover as waste.

These quick and cute spooky treat holders are a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) that I got from Lyssa Zwolanek at Song of My Heart Stampers. You can see her original post HERE. She has a great picture tutorial that shows you how to easily put these treat holders together. The only thing I did differently was I scored on the 1 1/2″, 3″ and 4 1/2″ lines so that it would be easier to fold the paper. Then I used stamps from the Spooktacular Bash Stamp Set and used some frame dies from the Ornate Frames Dies and a die cutting machine to cut out the sentiment and a frame to go behind it. Use your snail to adhere the sentiment to the black frame, add some Stampin’ Dimensionals and voila! Your treat holder is complete!

These would make great gifts for a trunk or treat or a class party. I put bone folders in them for the pictures but I plan to put glow stick bracelets and Halloween pencils in them for the upcoming craft fair that I’m participating in. They are a great option for kids besides the bags of candy they are going to get. I like to use the glow sticks for trick or treating so that the kids can stay safe while walking through the neighborhood.
