Summer is a great time to slow down and unwind and for me it has been a time to organize!
I recently organized my embellishments and I must say, it makes me so happy to have everything stored in one place.
This is how my embellishments were before. They were all in their original packaging in a big pile on a shelf. Not ideal at all.

Now they are all organized neatly in a top loading photo album. I love that I can easily flip through the album to find everything for my projects and when I’m done they can be stored on a shelf right next to my stamps!

One of the things I struggled with was having to look up which colors were in each package of embellishments. To solve this problem I created inserts to go behind the embellishments (free printables are at the bottom of this post).
Each insert has the product name, number and price at the top. Directly below it there are details such as size, number of gems and COLORS in the pack!
Supplies
I purchased a 4″ x 6″ top loading photo album to store my embellishments. The one I used can be found here on Amazon (affiliate link).
You will also need a trimmer to trim down the embellishment packaging. I use a Tim Holtz Guillotine trimmer that I found here on Amazon (affiliate link).

Free Printables
I created these free printables if you would like to use this organization in your own craft room.

What do you think about this new embellishment storage idea? Will you give it a try?
