One of my favorite new bundles in the January – April 2024 Mini Catalog has got to be the Cutest Cows Bundle! This bundle is definitely named well because those cows are super cute!
I have seen the Faux Shutter Card a lot lately and wanted to give it a try. It has also been called the Fractured Panel Card. Today’s project shows you two diferrent ways to achieve this look.
The Faux Shutter Card is named this way because it gives the look of a shutter from a camera lens, so cool! Check out the video below for all the details!
Measurements:
- Berry Burst or Pecan Pie Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
- Basic White:
- Card Layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- 2″ x 2″ Square
- 1/2″ strip for sentiment – punch right edge with Banners Pick A Punch
- Masterfully Made or Glorious Gingham DSP layer: 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Berry Burst or Pecan Pie Strips: 1/4″ wide and at least 3″ long
- Optional Basic White Strips: 1/8″ wide and at least 3″ long
- Optional Second DSP: 2″ x 4″

Love the cow cards! will be making some of these for Birthday cards for my cow people. What type of mini glue dot container do you use. Saw it on the video and have been looking for something for awhile. Thanks, Marci Parrott
Hi Marci, I’m so glad you enjoyed these cards! I got the Mini Glue Dot holder a long time ago from my local Michael’s craft store. I haven’t seen them sold in a few years though, I think they were discontinued.
