Today I have a fun project that uses the Fitting Florets 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Framed & Festive Stamp Set.
I came up with these cards while thinking about a way to make a card that you could insert your family photo in to and mail it. While Christmas is over, this is a good project to keep in your mind and save for next year.
The card on the left uses the Framed & Festive Stamp Set, Real Red & White Glimmer Paper and the Tree Lots Dies. I used and Adhesive Sheet on the White Glimmer Paper from the Real Red & White Glimmer Paper and die cut the tree outline from the Tree Lots Dies. I then removed the Adhesive Sheet backing and adhered the White Glimmer Tree outline to the Evening Evergreen Tree.
The card on the right is a card to send out a family portrait for your Christmas cards. You can see the details for how to create the photo pocket below. I used a picture of me and my Macy girl when I took her to see Santa at PetSmart back in 2010. My jacket in the picture even matches the DSP!
Wednesday, January 4, 2023 is the LAST DAY TO ORDER the Framed & Festive Stamp Set and the Fitting Florets DSP! Time is running out to get these amazing products before they are gone for good! Order yours today before it’s too late!
The assembly for this card is the same as the Framed Florets Square Easel Cards that I made last month. Just follow the video and the step by step photo PDF tutorial in that post to see how to assemble these cards.
To make the photo sleeve to send a family portrait:
- Line a Clear Envelope up in landscape position so that the closed end is at 5-1/4″ on your Paper Trimmer and the open end is facing the trimmer blade.
- Cut the open end of the Clear Envelope off and attach to your card front so that the open end is at the top of the card.
- Insert a 4″ x 5-1/4″ photo and your family portrait Christmas card is ready to go!
