Hi there! Have you ever seen background stamps and thought they were so pretty and fun but wondered what to do with them? I recently had this problem and after searching the internet and doing some experimenting I have come up with two uses for background stamps that I want to share with you today. I hope you enjoy them. I would love to hear what you think in the comment section at the bottom of this post.
Video Tutorial! I have a complete YouTube Video tutorial at the bottom of this post that you can watch to see exactly how to create these backgrounds. I hope you’ll subscribe to my YouTube Channel while you’re there!
Card #1 – Drybrush Cling Stamp Set
The first project in this video uses the Drybrush Cling Stamp Set on p. 138 of the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I got this when it was part of the big clearance event we had back in the fall. I thought it was really unique and fun but wasn’t sure how to use it. The background is similar to the sample in the Annual Catalog.

The next project uses the gorgeous Wild Roses Cling Stamp Set that is available on p. 30 of your January – June 2021 Mini Catalog. I instantly fell in love with this stamp but wasn’t sure what to do with it either. The technique I use in the video I got from Jennifer McGuire.
