June Stamp Camp Recap – Celebrate Sunflowers Gift Card Holder

Today I am here to share the second project that we made for Stamp Camp this month. This gift card holder is great for any occasion. The sentiment on this card can be used for a multitude of happy occasions such as job promotion, retirement, graduation, birthday, etc. The list goes on and on.
Here is a look at the inside of the card once you open it…
Card Recipe:
(Don’t forget to see the complete product showcase at the bottom of this post)
Cut Your Paper:
  • Whisper White Cardstock
    • 4-1/4” x 11” scored at 2” at one end & 3-1/2” at the other end
    • 7” x 3-1/2” scored at ½” at one end & 2” at the other end
    • 3-1/2” x 2-3/4”
  • Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper
    • 4” x 1-3/4”
  • 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper
    • 4” x 3-1/4”
Make Your Sunflower Front Layer:
1. Position your 3 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ Whisper White Cardstock on your Stamparatus and secure with a magnet.
2. Place the sunflower stamp so that it goes about halfway in from the right side of the edge and place the sentiment in the top left hand corner. Flip Stamparatus plate on to stamps to secure them in place.
3. Ink up your stamps in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp.
4. Take your light and dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and color the sunflower petals until desired effect is achieved. Note: I used the darker blend to color the base of the petals and then went over with the lighter color to blend together.

Assemble:
1. Fold your 7” x 3-1/2” & 4-1/4” x 11” Whisper White Cardstock pieces on all score lines and burnish with your bone folder.
2. For the 7” x 3-1/2” piece, fold the 1/2″ scored piece behind the card and fold the 2″ up so that it overlaps the front.
3. On the 2″ panel, if desired, use your 1 1/2″ Circle Punch to punch out a half moon shape so that your gift card can show through.
4. Adhere the Designer Series paper, the 4” x 3-1/4” piece goes on the top panel and the 4” x 1-3/4” piece goes on the bottom panel.
5. Pop the sunflower sentiment piece up using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere some Pearl Basic Jewels as shown.
6. Tie the Just Jade 3/8″ Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack over the bottom panel to secure in place and you’re done!
I hope you have enjoyed this project and will stay tuned for the final Stamp Camp project coming soon!
Happy Stamping!
