You Make Me Happy Thank You Card

Today I have this fun card using the This Little Piggy Cling Stamp Set and the Best Dressed DSP. I made these as a thank you to my customers that placed orders with me last month and qualified to win my monthly free gift. I usually make a 3″ x 3″ card for them but since we aren’t able to see each other this month I decided to make a full size card for them, I thought this one would make them smile.

Here is a close-up of the card…

Doesn’t this piggy just make you smile?! I love the colors used in this card too, they just scream spring to me.
Card Recipe:
(Don’t forget to see the complete product showcase at the bottom of this post)
Start with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Mint Macaron card base. Fold in half and burnish with your bone folder.
Next cut a 3 5/8″ x 5 1/8″ Whisper White layer, a 2 5/8″ x 3 1/8″ Purple Posy layer and a 2 1/2″  x 3″ Whisper White layer.
Now punch out 4 rectangles from the Stitched Rectangle Dies using a sheet of Best Dressed DSP. Use the 1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″ and the 1 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ rectangles. (If you are looking at the dies as they come in the package you will be using the lone rectangle at the top left of the sheet and the largest of the smaller grouping of rectangles.)
Group these rectangles as shown on the 3 5/8″ x 5 1/8″ Whisper White layer and adhere with Snail Adhesive. Adhere this layer to the Mint Macaron card base and set aside.
Use your Stamparatus to stamp the piggy on the 2 1/2″  x 3″ Whisper White layer. Color the piggy using the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers Combo Pack. Color the grass and the leaf using the Granny Apple Green Light Stampin’ Blends Marker. Color a Pearl Basic Jewel using the Daffodil Delight Light Stampin’ Blends Marker.
Adhere the piggy layer to the Purple Posy layer and then adhere that to your card layers using Snail Adhesive.
Use the spatula on your Take Your Pick tool and adhere the colored Pearl Basic Jewel and your card is done!
I hope you have enjoyed this card. I love the beautiful soft spring colors and know that my customers will enjoy them. They make me so happy and I can’t wait to see them all again at stamp camp very soon. I hope you’ll follow my blog by e-mail, follow me on Facebook and follow me on pinterest to see more inspiration as it becomes available. Stay safe!

Happy Stamping!
Jen
