Sunday Sketch – Sending Healing Hugs Sympathy Card

Today’s Sunday Sketch is a sympathy card I recently made for a friend. Even though it’s a sympathy card, I wanted the card to be uplifting as much as possible and let my friend know that I am thinking about her in this time of need. I love how this card turned out and hope she enjoys it too.
Below is the sketch for this week’s card. I was able to stick to the sketch design pretty closely for this card.

Today’s Sketch Courtesy of Scrapbook & Cards Today Magazine (original post HERE)

The tulips are punched out using the Tulip Builder Punch and are punched from the tulip images in the Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper (currently unavailable). You could easily replicate this if you don’t have the Pleased As Punch DSP by stamping 2 Tulips in Blushing Bride and 2 Tulips in Pumpkin Pie and then punching them out.  Pear Pizzazz leaves would tie the whole thing together.

The sentiment for this card is from the So Sentimental Photopolymer Cling Stamp Set stamped in So Saffron Stampin’ Ink and the background is from the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ DSP.

Below is another angle of this card…

This card uses 2 products that are on the Last Chance Product list (see showcase below). These products are only available until June 2, 2020 or while supplies last, so be sure to get them before they’re gone! You can see them in my online store (click here).

I hope you have enjoyed this card, be sure to check back often for more great card and project ideas!
