Since my Stamp Camp classes this month were Easter themed I decided to stick with that theme for these cards. I used the Welcome Easter Cling Stamp Set (Item# 151559). The animals in this set are so stinkin’ cute! I decided to use the bunny and pair him with the gorgeous floral paper from the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ DSP (Item # 151319). I saw another demonstrator (Angie Juda at Chic n Scratch) pair this paper with this stamp set and I thought “of course, this paper screams spring!” It was a genius idea.
Card Recipe:
1. Start by using your Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock down to 3″ x 6″. Fold in half and burnish with your bone folder.
2. Cut down a piece of the Best Dressed 6″ x 6″ DSP to 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″. Adhere to the front of the Purple Posy card base using your Snail Adhesive.
3. Stamp the bunny from the Welcome Easter Cling Stamp Set onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Use the 2 3/8″ circle from the Layering Circles Dies and cut out your bunny.
4. Color the bunny in the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends and use the Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends for his nose and ears.
5. Use the 2 3/8″ scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Dies to cut out a Purple Posy scalloped circle.
6. Use your Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the bunny circle to the Purple Posy scalloped circle. Now adhere these to the card front using your Snail Adhesive.
7. Stamp the Sweet Friend sentiment from the Welcome Easter Cling Stamp Set in Blushing Bride Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
8. Trim down cardstock and make banner by punching each end with the Banner Triple Punch.
9. Adhere sentiment as shown using 2 Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
10. If desired, add a 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ card liner cut out of printer paper to the inside of your card using your Snail Adhesive and you’re card is complete!
