Hi Campers! Don’t you just love a card that can be used for many different occasions?! That’s what I’ve created for you today. This card is great for any occasion! It could be used for a birthday or anniversary card or just to let someone in your life know that they are important to you.
The base is a 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock folded in half and burnished with your bone folder. The background is a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. The top plaid piece is a 5 1/2″ x 1″ piece from the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper, so gorgeous! And the bottom piece is a 5 1/2″ x 1″ piece of Soft Suede Cardstock that has been embossed using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.
Adhere the plaid and wood embossed strips to the card as shown. Line them up with the top and bottom of the Whisper White Cardstock base. Now use your Snail Adhesive and adhere the base to your card and set aside.
Next you’ll grab the pumpkin, stem and the “You Make Me Smile” sentiment from the Harvest Hellos stamp set and use your Stamparatus to stamp out your pumpkins on Pumpkin Pie Cardstock, the stems on a scrap piece of Soft Suede and the sentiment on a 2″ x 3/4″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Using the Apple Builder Punch, punch out your pumpkins and stems. Use your Multipurpose Liquid Glue to glue the bigger side of the stems to your pumpkins. *Don’t forget that for the pumpkins, the fatter side of the stem is the part that is glued to the pumpkin body. For the apple images in this set, the skinny part of the stem is glued to the apple base.*
Once your pumpkins are dry, we are ready to assemble. Use your Snail Adhesive to adhere the pumpkins on the left and right hand side of your Whisper White Cardstock base with the two strips already attached to it. Use about 3 Stampin’ Dimensionals to make the pumpkin in the middle pop out a bit. Also use Stampin’ Dimensionals for the sentiment. Adhere 2 birds from the Monster Bash Enamel Shapes and you’re all set!
